- Tidbit... Per Bernadine... they have the old article from 1917 (?)... Farmer City paper... re the Christian Church (Mrs. Reuben Parr) served a 7 course dinner at their home, after the wedding of Marquis & Pearl Parr)... at the church.
- [Also... The day after the wedding, Reuben & Mary Parr moved off the family farm and into Mansfield... leaving Marquis & Pearl to live on the family farm... and farm it. The family farm then was where all the Parr children were born and raised. It was owned by Marquis, Myrtle Parr Gee, and Alma Parr Clark]
