• Willie May Story (2/19/1881) married John Henry Cox  (she had brothers named Bob, Isaac, Tom, and sisters named Pauline, Mildred, Rebecca.  Her family came from Clinton County.  [All this came verbally from my dad.]

None of the following are known (yet?) to be related to Willie May Story, but perhaps are a good lead...

"A note of interest: Benjamin and Isaac Story also appear on the 1840 & 1850 Clinton County, KY Census.  Prior to being married to Sarah Wallace, Evander was married to Abigal Story.  It appears that he followed the Story family from Bledsoe County, TN to Clinton County, KY where Evander must have lived for over a decade, before showing up in Overton County, TN with a new wife. (No luck so far in finding anything re May's parents or siblings.  But here's a birth record for a Mary L. Story 10/09/1911 who's mother was 'Mary Ward Story'.  If we find her husband's name, perhaps it might lead us to his family... which may be May's family also.  At least it's a Story from Barren Co. about that same time.)
